This week is Science week

Each class will be doing lots more science. One of the main things we will look at is our bodies and being healthy so it all fits into our health month very nicely!!

Year 3 are looking at keeping teeth healthy. What will you find out about?

We are winners!! Holy Souls School were overall winners of the Primary Enterprise Challenge with their lifewise fayre. Well done to all our Health Reps, our classes for their ideas and all our staff who helped us. You are all stars. We were able to meet the Lord Mayor and another surpise guest... do you know who this is?

Thank you to Sainsbury's, Acocks Green for donating lots of fruit to school to enjoy during our healthy month. Seven of our children made a fantastic pitch to Sainsbury's staff last Monday asking them for support. It is great to have this link with a local business!

Summer Fayre

Today we had our Summer Fayre and it was a great turn out despite the weather. Well done to those of you who wore your sports kits to remind us all that it is health month! Thank you to Hughes in Acocks Green for donating this fruit basket. That will keep the winner healthy!

Health Day!

Well done to everyone for running and taking part in a fantastic health day! You all ran your own stalls and had a go at the others. The Bouncy Castle, dancing, football shooting and many others were clearly great fun!

3C's Assembly

Have you seen our garden?

We have been gardening for a few months now. We have planted and are growing lots of healthy fruit and vegetables. Go and have a look at our strawberries, lettuces and the potatoes which we have just dug out!

Health Aware Fayre

You have all voted to call the company running the fayre 'Healthy Holy Souls'. Remember to design your posters and logos over this Half term!!!

In your next class meeting you need to talk about the design of your stall activity and how you are going to run it!!!
